Its location was central, extremely close to St Oswald's Church. A wide range of food for breakfast, it was excellent.

Its excellent, central location was a plus. It took 20 minutes by foot to reach the train station.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

The staff was fairly friendly and the room was tidy with very comfy beds.

I had very lovely stay, the place is absolutely charming and great!

The hotel was located really close to centre and main attractions, a very traditional English pub that was wholly photo-worthy, and the town centre and university science campus. The staff were really good and super friendly and the location was amazing close to the cathedral.

Great and incredible location - a 4-6 minute walking distance from a redundant church.

It was a perfect base for rest, had very very good time. I thoroughly enjoyed brand-new rooms with a relaxed bar downstairs and lovely friendly staff. The service was terrific and the location was magnificent and perfect. I didn't want to say goodbye and would love to come back.

The setting was good and perfect, near the cathedral nearby, a restaurant that serves delicious authentic Asian cuisine, and the local supermarket. Places like Elvet Bridge were around 10-15 minutes walk from from here too.

Delightful and little hotel - excellent home base for rest. Lots of good food for meals. Central location so close to everything that we do n't have to drive around town at all. Simply no complaints whatsoever, really good stay.

Very clean bed, tastefully decorated and nicely furnished room with an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. Bright design. Convenient setting, just next door to Victoria Inn for rest of evening as well as beer garden of the pub. A lot of food options not too far from the venue.

Perfect location, it was close enough to a very popular pub, Cathedral and town center and all the excellent cafes/shops.

No complains at all, we would stay there again if in Durham. It's an ideal base for one night. Staff is really good and you can park your car onsite. The authentic bar is attractive, greatly enjoyed this place.

Certainly a real good experience for rest in Durham. Nice little hotel, comfy bed, fantastic bar. Pretty quiet area, central location close to a restaurant that serves delicious authentic Asian cuisine. And 15 mins walk to Tunstall Chapel.

This place had a spacious desk that was perfect for relaxing.

We were moved to a double room and had a kettle and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bed was comfy and the bathroom - beautifully decorated😃🙂
